This interesting family picture from the Elmo and Bessie Ingenthron Collection, WRVHS, provides many clues for the genealogist. Glued to the original cabinet card is a short obituary for 106-year-old “Mrs. Hill” from Berryville, AR, as well as a notation regarding “M J Porter grandmother”. The back of the portrait identifies that the older woman, seated, is “Grandmother Hill”.
