Veterans Day Open House at Branson Centennial Museum

Photo of unidentified soldiers

The Branson Centennial Museum, 120 S. Commercial, is hosting a free Open House on Veterans Day, November 11, from 8:30–3:00. Veterans visiting the museum at that time will receive bottled water, courtesy of Clocker’s Cafe, and flags provided by the Flag Store, as a special thanks for their service to our country. This picture of two unidentified soldiers is part of the Dillard and Eva (Worrell) Branson collection housed at the White River Valley Historical Society in Forsyth, and one or both may be a member of Taney Counties Branson or Worrell families. If you can identify either of the men, please contact the Branson Centennial Museum at 417-239-1912, the WRVHS at 417-546-1830, or email info@wrvhs.org.
